Break your Lytro Camera? Lytro offers Cheap Repairs/Replacement outside of Warranty
What happens if you drop your Lytro LightField Camera, or if it gets wet and stops working?
Lytro’s Product Warranty only covers normal, non-commercial use and defects in workmanship and materials for one year after the original purchase. However, Lytro support will repair or replace your camera for 99 US-$ (includes 2-day shipping), even if warranty conditions don’t apply. That’s great customer service, no?
Here’s the official information from Lytro Support:
If your Lytro camera has suffered damage not covered by the Lytro Warranty (such as impact or water damage), we will repair or replace your camera for $99 (which includes 2-day shipping).
All returns must be initiated via Lytro Support through one of the following options:
