Panasonic patents light field sensor with 100% chip resolution

I've been reading here a bit, hoping to see a discussion about this. In case people here haven't heard about this, please see the link. I use Panasonic's GH2 cameras (discontinued now) and I'm hoping they will quickly move this chip to that platform (the GH series). I will be one of the first in line if they do. What a huge advance for macrophotography, no more image stacking, processing of stacks and dealing with the processing artifacts. I can't wait.

Big surprise: Panasonic may create the ultimate Light Field camera!

Edit: I just noticed that the link references an article in this very forum about this very chip (duh!) but I still don't see it...weird......by browsing through here.
