Mac Desktop Software for OSX 10.5 for powerpc Mac

One of the best desktop computer built is the MAC powerpc G5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Mac_G5 It runs on Mac OSX 10.5 as last supported OS... This computer is a powerhouse. It can not be upgraded to OSX 10.6 thus unable to run your desktop software.... what a waste.... I own a number of Mac G5 and would like to run the Lytro software on this platform.... is there a chance that Lytro might consider developing a version of the Lytro desktop that is compatible with OSX 10.5 operating system? PL

I think many fans would love to see the Desktop Software get adapted to older Operating Systems, but I don't think this would be a priority for Lytro right now. Still, I'm only a fan and don't know about internals.
It's probably best to pose that question over at Lytro's support page.

It is more of an economic issue that determines the direction of development... Lytro would pick up more potential customers if it could work on OSX10.5 desktop software : ) There is no hardware limitation here other than Apple abandoning this platform for Intel cpu.
