DigitalOpitcs: Oppo bringt erstes Smartphone mit MEMS Kamera auf den Markt

Kürzlich aufgetauchte Gerüchte rund um ein Nexus 5 mit MEMS Kameratechnologie – angeblich das erste seiner Art – haben wieder etwas Aufmerksamkeit auf DigitalOptics und sein superschnelles Kameramodul gelenkt.
Die neueste Presseaussendung der Firma bestätigt, dass tatsächlich ein erstes Smartphone mit MEMS|cam in Entwicklung ist. Die Gerüchte zu LG und der Nexus Linie werden allerdings als “fehlerhaft” bezeichnet. Das erste MEMS|cam Smartphone der Welt wird stattdessen von DigitalOptics’ neuem Exklusiven Produktlaunch-Partner OPPO Electronics, mit Sitz in Dongguan, China, produziert. There has been speculation on who would be the first to bring the significant benefits of mems|cam to the mobile imaging market. Last week, several technology news blogs reported that mems|cam was first being brought to market in another smartphone platform. Those reports were inaccurate.
