Mike Miller, stolzer Besitzer der Lytro Illum “First Edition” Nummer 14, hat uns mit einigen Raw Lichtfeld-Dateien aus Lytro’s neuem Vorzeigeprodukt versorgt. In Mike’s Blog findet sich auch ein detaillierter Lytro Illum Unboxing-Bericht.

Die Dateien mit je ca. 50 MB (Download-Links im Anschluss) ermöglichen das Austesten der verschiedenen Features von Lytro Desktop 4.0, sowie die nähere Inspektion des Dateiformats für Interessierte.

Update: Bitte beachten, dass es sich hier um “Lytro RAW” Dateien handelt (.raw), die nur die aufgezeichneten Lichtfeld-Daten enthält und nicht die spezifischen Kamera-Kalibrierungsdaten. Die Bildqualität in Lytro Desktop leidet daher leider (Details hier: What is the difference between XRAW and RAW files?). Wir werden versuchen, einige XRAW Dateien inkl. Kalibrierungsdaten zu bekommen, und posten diese dann hier.

(Mike fügt hinzu: “Die Bilder werden mit dem Hinweis zur Verfügung gestellt, dass die Kamera sicherlich bessere Resultate liefern kann. Ich stehe noch ganz am Anfang der Lernkurve.”)

Um eine .lfr-Datei in Lytro Desktop zu importieren, einfach “Datei” > “Importieren” > “Dateien…” aus dem Hauptmenü auswählen, und der Software anschließend zeigen, wo die heruntergeladene .lfr Beispieldatei liegt. Lytro Desktop ermöglicht dann das Exportieren verschiedener Aspekte des Bildes, inkl. einer editierbaren Tiefenkarte und einer “explodierten” Stapel-Datei (“editierbares Lebendes Bild”), das mit Photoshop, Lightroom etc. bearbeitet und anschließend wieder in Lytro Desktop eingelesen werden kann.

Im Anschluss findest du einige Beispiele schneller Bildnachbesserungen im neuen “Adjustments” Panel links, sowie eine Zusammenstellung aller Animations-Effekte, die zur Zeit unter “Animate” zur Verfügung stehen.
Am Ende des Artikels finden sich schließlich die Metadaten, die mit Hilfe des Lytro Compatible Viewers extrahiert werden konnten.
